Brittany is an athletic player who can effectively guard a player in the post or on the perimeter. Brittany is a good rebounder with a solid offensive game. She started for the J.V. at SHG this past season and scored 10.2 ppg. She averaged 7 rpg, 2 steals per game, 2 blocked shots per game and made 65% of her free throws. The J.V. finished with a 21-1 record this season. Brittany played in 16 Varsity games and averaged 2.1 ppg and shot 61% from the field. Her high point game at the varsity level was 5 points against both Rochester and Taylorville.

Morgan Brinker

Morgan is very good long range shooter. She is a good ball handler that plays with a lot of energy on the defensive end of the floor. Morgan was the sixth man and occasional starter on SHG’s Varsity. Morgan scored 9.4 ppg, shot 40% from the field and 37% from three point range. Her 53 three pointers made her the second leading three point shooter in the Central State Eight Conference. Morgan scored in double figures in 14 games with a high point total of 19 in a win against Springfield High. In that game Morgan made five three pointers in the second half.

Lauren is a very good shooter and plays hard on the defensive end of the floor. She is a good all around player that led her school team in scoring (14.0), rebounding (7.1) and steals (2.2). She shot 46% from the field and 63% free throws and was named the MVP of her Illini Central team._ Lauren was 1st Team All Conference in the Tomahawk Conference and 3rd Team in the Sangamo Conference. She made the All Tournament Team at East Peoria and was named 1st_Team All Area for 1A & 2A schools by the Pekin Times.

Tori has a unique combination of size and athletic ability. She is a strong perimeter defender that also defends the post well. Tori is a good rebounder and ball handler that often grabs a rebound and leads the fast break. She has a versatile offensive game as she scores well in the paint and can make the shot from the perimeter. She is a hard worker with a good attitude. Tori made the all tournament team at the USJN Gateway Challenge.

Lexie is a good outside shooter that always plays hard on the defensive end of the court. Lexie was a starter on Sacred Heart Griffin’s J.V._team that went 21-1 this past season. She averaged 9 ppg, 4 assist per game and made 37 % of her three pointers._ Lexie played in 14 Varsity games and averaged 1.4 points per game. _She had a high point game of 15 against Jacksonville in a J.V. game and a high game of 11 against Champaign Central at the Varsity level. Lexie won the three point Shooting Contest at the AYBT National Tournament this past Summer.

Alex Schaad
West Central High School

Alex is a very intense defensive player that always gives 100% effort every time she steps on the floor. Alex was a starter on West Central’s J.V that went 19-3 this year. She averaged 11.2 ppg, 7.5 rpg and shot 53% from the field. Alex was a member of the West Central Varsity that finished 2nd in the Class 1A State Tournament. Alex averaged 1.4 ppg on the varsity level. Alex is expected to be a key contributor next season on West Central’s Varsity.

Tiffany is a dominant post player. She is a very physically strong player that works hard on her game. Tiffany was the leading scorer (16.3) and rebounder (7.3) on the West Central team that placed 2nd in the 1A State Tournament. Tiffany made the All Tournament teams this season at Beardstown, Carrollton and White Hall North Greene. She was A/P 2nd Team All State, IBS 1st Team All State and 3rd Team IL Coaches Poll All State. Tiffany was named the Jacksonville Journal Courier Player of the Year. She was 1st Team All Conference in the WIVC. Tiffany is a clutch player that made two free throws with nine seconds remaining in the Sectional Semifinals to tie Okawville and send the game to overtime. In overtime she made two more free throws that help seal the victory.
