Recap of Peoria Tournament
We went 2-1 and took 2nd place. Attached you will find game results for the games played and also season totals at the end of the document.

We had well balanced scoring in the first game. Colin had a great game driving to the basket going 5 for 7 along with 6 rebounds. Cole and Eli did another great job on the boards. Kids got tired in the first game with only 5 kids, but they held up well against the 5th graders that were much larger.

In the second game, we had another game of well balanced scoring with 3 kids in double figures. Cole pulled down 10 rebounds giving him a double double in the game. Everyone played hard coming from behind at halftime and taking control of the game down the strech.

In the third game, we did a great job of taking advantage of Eli's height. We really got the ball down to him so that he could use his height advantage. Eli was able to finish it off with the score.

Springfield-1
We went 3-2 at this tournament. Game 1 we won 32-20. We had well balanced scoring where we had 5 of the 7 players scoring. We also had 3 players that had above 6 or above rebounds for the game. Tavaris had a game high with 9 points. Game 2 we lost 39-25. We still had good balance scoring, but not as many rebounds. Isaac had a game high with 12 points. Game3 was the most exciting. We won 34-33. We were down by 5 at the half. We did not score for the first 8 mins of the 2nd half. We were getting good shots, but nothing was falling. We then started to heat up and went on to outscore them by 6 in the 2nd half to have a great come from behind win. The boys stayed in the game and did not give up. Game 4 was against a good older team and we lost 42-31. Our boys adjusted well to their game in the second half where we outscored them 20 to 8. So we stayed playing hard until the end of the game. Colin had a game high with 11 points. Game 5 we won 51-19. This was another nice game. We had everyone score and get at least 1 rebound this game. So it was a great total team effort where we were playing well on both ends of the court. Isaac had a game high with 12 points.


Decatur-2
We went 3-2 at this tournament. Game1 we won 36-25. Again everyone was scoring and getting at least 1 rebound this game. Isaac had a game high with 12 points. Game 2 we lost 34-24. We were a little tired this game where we were not getting back on defense. Tavaris and Trenton had game high with 7 points apiece. Game 3 we lost 45-31. We had 3 players with 8 or more points. Tavaris had a game high with 11 points. Game 4 we won34-6. This team played a zone defense in which we executed our zone offense very well against them. Isaac had a game high of 16 points. Game5 we won 42-17. Again we had all but one of the players in scoring column. Cole scored 10 points going 5 for 7. We also had 4 players with 6 points apiece.

Springfield-2
We went 4-1 at this tournament. We played against much older and bigger kids. The boys played absolutely great. We just had one half out of all the games where we let down a little, but other than that they played very strong defense and hustled the entire time. Game1 we won 36-31 in overtime. Isaac had a game high of 18 points. Eli pulled down 12 rebounds. Tavaris and Isaac each had 3 steals. Game 2 we won 33-29. We had 3 players scoring 8 or more with Tavaris a game high of 9 points and 6 steals. Eli had 6 rebounds while Cole and Nolan pulled down 5. Game 3 we lost 48-27. We played a team that was very good. They were big and very quick. It took us a half to get adjusted. We outscored them in the 2nd half 20 to 12. So, good job to the boys for finishing the game strong. Isaac and Trenton led the way with 8 apiece. Game 4 we won 40-36. We were down by 4 at half and the boys came out and played great defense in the second half holding them to 12 points. Isaac led the way with 23 points, going 4 for 6 from 2's and 5 for 7 from 3's. Cole pulled down 7 rebounds while Blake had 5 rebounds. Nolan also put in 8 points. Game5 we won 40-23. Again we had another great defensive game. We were up by 1 at the half and then held them to 10 points in the 2nd half. Isaac led the way with 18 points and Tavaris added 12. Cole pulled down 10 rebounds and Eli had 7.
